Through the Lens

‘Through the lens’ is an animated virtual reality film about the need for a wider adoption of Localisation in the Humanitarian sector.

The term ‘Localisation’ began to be used widely in humanitarian contexts in the lead up to the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) and has since become one the most widely discussed topics. Through the WHS, many humanitarian actors, particularly local, national and international NGOs, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), led the call for the international humanitarian system to commit to becoming more inclusive of local and national actors.
